I like the strat years the best too. Maybe if we're lucky monte or whoever it was will repost that fantastic peice on his guitars. Chronicles ALL the details inside and out year by year. I need to bookmark that one it's great.

btw when did Jerry start using the strat? I really like his tone alot in 71 too

my mistake. Its obvious just by looking should have said fall 69 to summer 73 though he played others during that time, such as a Turner. Graham Nash gave him the green alligator start. Apologies for being sloppy.
